Jamie Pecknold - Her love of the underwater world
stemmed from a fascination by it at a very young age.
With avid divers as parents, it was inevitable. In 1993
she was certified as a Junior Open Water Diver and
was determined to be an underwater treasure hunter.
Over the years, her plans changed, but  in 2004 she
decided to take SCUBA to the next level and was
certified as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer with PADI.
As a self proclaimed 'Reef Hugger', she is an active
ocean conservationist and its not uncommon to see
her picking up cans and litter on a reef dive. " The
ocean has enriched my life in so many ways, I simply
want to return the favor." You may also see her behind
the lens of her underwater video camera in classes
she isn't leading. Besides teaching, its her favorite
underwater activity.

She is qualified to teach Open Water through
